Elixir comes with an unsurpassed trim optimization module. The MajiqTrim engine automatically produces a number of alternative winder patterns to a particular mill-scheduling problem. You select the solution that best meets your run criteria: e.g. solve for optimum machine trim efficiency, minimum under/overruns, hot-loading orders (low order-spread within the block to free up loading bays), on-time deliveries, etc. Increase profits, facilitate customer service, and manage inventories. The trim solution engine is also available stand-alone as a MAJIQ-hosted web-based service.
